Resto Reco :P

Had one of the most delicious lunches over the long weekend.  It all started out with a text I got from General Manager Larry Cortez of Duo (we featured the resto a few years back in Pink magazine) in Serendra: 

Hi, our UNCLE CHEFFY Bellagio II, Forbes Town Center, Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig City. Telephone Number 659-8030, is now open and we are celebrating for 15 days by giving discounts on all foods and non-alcoholic drinks, 50% Oct 28-30, 40% Oct 31-Nov 2, 30% Nov 3-5, 20% nov 6-11.

So we brought my family last Sunday to Uncle Cheffy:

They kept the interiors clean and bright

First up—Home-made corned beef soup

Then came the beef ribs for P595 for 1 kilo

Love the sauces that they offered; my fave is the herb sauce—I even asked for seconds!

Their buttered garlic rice is so yummy!!!

Dad ordered their rib eye: also very good, with or without their complementary sauce.  It was thinly sliced since we asked for it to be served medium-well.

The Cheese, Cheese and Cheese pizza took a while, because the crew was very meticulous with their dishes. They cooked it the second time for us.

This is how you eat the Panizza: put all the "ingredients" on the sliced pizza

...and wrap it like a "lumpia."  Of course, me being such a garlic herb lover... I added their herb sauce on the pizza :P

Their iced tea is also good, but it has a strong tea taste that others might not like.  Regular is P60, while their bottomless is P80.

Their bestseller for dessert is this frozen chocolate cake with pandan cream.

We also tried their ube cream panna cota. 

Both dishes are (obviously) Pinoy in flavor, refreshing actually!  Click on the photo below to check out their menu :)

Here's little J, being fed by my mom with her order of Mushroom Pilaf.  He's such a growing baby boy—he finished his lunch and wanted more from us haha...  Of course, my parents were more than happy to see him munch on more food ;)

Best news? We got 40% off that day!  Their 40% off is still available until tomorrow.  Happiness!  Here's hoping we get to go there again before their discount offers end ;P
