Fashion for Two Boys

We had lunch today at the newly-opened Shabu-Shabu place at the basement of Power Plant Mall, called Gansu-Shabuway.  I love that they have coloring materials for the little one :D

I try not to make them wear the exact clothes, but just similar ones ;)

Enter the Water Dragon

For the first day of the Year of the Water Dragon, we had dinner at Shangri-la EDSA hotel.  I had Little J wear his Korean costume again (para sulit), and everyone loved it instantly ;)

Then, we went up to watch the Dragon dance on the 2nd floor

Little J was pretty stressed out with the noisy drum beat though hehe...  Can't blame him, I was like that also when I was about 3-5 years old ;)

Gong Xi Fa Cai :D

We celebrated Chinese New Year's Eve at Xin Tian Ti restaurant at Crowne Plaza Hotel with my side of the family last night, with temple hopping in Chinatown past midnight.  I just wanted to document what he (partially) wore to dinner:

Here he is getting ready. We got this Korean costume at our last Seoul trip in October:

Can I just say that their Scallop Fruit Salad and Abalone with Dried Scallops are the bomb? :)

Getting Organized

I'm so proud of myself this week. I bought myself some magnets
IMG_4067

... and did this on one of my walls :D
IMG_4068

I gotta be extra OC this year with so many activities lined up for 2012 ;)  This way, I know right away what needs to be done for the day or the week.  Plus, our marketing coordinator and I will be in synched when it comes to our marketing events hehe...

My colleagues found it amusing, too!  Which makes this "calendar" all the more a success hehe :D

We can be Anything :)

I'm featured in this month's issue of Good Housekeeping :)  I know, I look fat with my chubby cheeks ... I always do.  That's the first thing my mom said when she saw this page :o

I'm part of the six women chosen for their multi-tasking skills and how they can juggle more than just one "job."

Hope you can get yourself a copy and get inspired to follow the dreams that you've been putting off :)

"Skyping"

Another skype session happened earlier tonight with hubby—he's in China on a business trip.

Mic, Please :)

Because our little man had fun singing at his grandparents' place over the weekend, I brought out a similar microphone toy (which I bought for him at the Toy Kingdom warehouse sale last year) for him

I was amazed that you can also plug in your music player—will try that out soon :)

Budding Singer

This video made me smile; shot at my in-laws house this afternoon.

Hubby sent this one earlier tonight, while we "skyped" :D

Flying Out

I'm leaving with my mom on a short trip to Singapore in a few hours.  I'm always sad the night before trips like these, as I will be missing my two boys :(  Here's a shot of them taken last December 30, at Nuvali.  Will post more on this trip soon :)

New Year's Day

The next morning, on New Year's Day, was spent at Cartimar.  Because hubby got his new bike, he wanted to buy Little J one also.

Little J was one happy boy.
He kept pointing at the bike and saying "bike" :D
Another new word!

Then it was off to Midas Hotel in Roxas Boulevard for lunch with my side of the family

New Year's Eve

10AM: Brunch with the King family (everyone until the fourth generation kiddos like Little J).  We ended the event with a family pic:

Another one with me, hubby and Little J

Then, we headed off to hubby's house where hubby took his bike (my gift for him) for a spin
IMG_3396

While hubby was out biking around the village, Little J played inside.  Look how he matched all the cars on the right colored squares—this was a first :)
IMG_3397

He has colds and we asked him to take a break to take his medicine; he was such a jolly good boy
IMG_3404

My sis-in-law, Joy, arrived with her two boys.  She's a very crafty girl, and she brought with her a Gingerbread cookie making kit.  So, all the three boys were busy making their gingerbread man cookie :)

Here's Little J's :D
IMG_3412

We had dinner with my in-laws, and moved to my parents' place around 11:30 PM.  First up was figuring out how to light the wishing lanterns

Hubby was able to figure it out ;)
