Mommy Meet-Up

Last Saturday, I met up with bloggers Frances Amper-Sales of OK! magazine (and blogger of Topaz Horizon, Topaz Mommy and A Beauty for a Living - whew! how does she do it, noh?) and Karen Go-Wu of aloopylife.

Too bad Vito (Frances' baby) was sleeping that time, so only Karen's baby Harvey and Little J got to hang with us.  Oh well, until the next time, baby boys :D

Holidays are here!

One of our childhood friends is back for the holidays, and we were able to meet up last week with our kiddos :)

Can't wait to hang out with them again tomorrow ;)

Kris Kringle Time

Last Friday was our first Kris Kringle at the head office :)

Task 1 is to find a gift that's FLUFFY :D

Au, our marketing coordinator, and I ended up picking each other's gifts hehe...

It's beginning to look/feel a lot like Christmas :D

Think Happy Thoughts

My friend posted this in her Facebook wall, and I think it's a great way to spread good vibes :D
1. At least five people in this world love you so much they would die for you.

Thank you, Steve Jobs

I'm sure everyone knows by now that Steve Jobs passed away last Wednesday. This post is dedicated to him, to thank him for making technology fun and in style.  Our little one started very young, barely a year old when he got his iPad :D

This shot was taken in the plane, on our way to Hong Kong last August.  He never leaves without his iPad :D He has learned quite a lot using the educational apps :)  We even use it to play his sleeping lullabies at night when we're out of town.

We use the iPod to play his music to put him to sleep.  Every morning, the first thing he does when he wakes up is to turn off the iPod and the speakers, on his own!  Such a techie boy :D

Childhood Buddies

Sherry was in town to fix her working visa, 
so we grabbed the chance to have dinner with her the other night :)

We had dinner at 1521 at Burgos Circle, and had Serenitea for dessert.

I miss my high school barkada. Until the next one ;)

Happy Father's Day

I fell in love with this commercial while I was in UK.  This is one of the reasons why I started this blog, so that my son (and future kids) can read through this and know how our life was like with them :D

Friends in UK

Apologies for the one week hiatus.  Our last stop, which was in London, was fully packed.  I'm back now, and recuperating from the flu... sigh!

Anyways, this post is to thank all my "UK" friends for taking care of me and my family.  You made our trip extra special :D

NIKKI GO, my childhood friend ;) Thank you for squeezing us into your house, and for driving us around New Castle and York.

JOHN GONZALES, my new found friend :D Thank you to you and Alex for letting us stay at your beautiful home, and for driving us to Bicester Village. We had so much fun!

DOHN YU, my schoolmate from nursery to college (haha... it's been that long!).  We love the restaurants you recommended.  Keep me posted with you-know-what, you hottie ;)

PAUL TIU, my childhood seat mate (fellow bus rider).  Thank you for touring us around London, and bringing us to my mom's requests :D

MARJ AKIL, my colleague back in Chalk magazine.  It's been 8 long years since we've seen each other!  It was so great to catch up with you.

We all had a lovely time, thanks to all of you.

Arrival at Stockton

We love their chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate, and brought some of the cookies with us for our trip to Darlington.

I ended my breakfast with banana topped with nutella ;P

The corridor is just a bit narrow for big guys like my brother, but it will do.
