It was my dad's birthday yesterday. As usual, we all wore red and had lunch at the most-talked about Bulgogi Brothers at Greenbelt 5:
I like the modern-mix-Korean culture interiors:
Korean wine, in all kinds, are available... to those who love to drink:
We were served corn tea and appetizers (steamed kamote, corn on the cob and hard boiled quail eggs) while we waited for our orders:
Here's Little J enjoying his corn :D
First up - rib-eye
I like the fact that one of their staff members does the cooking for us; and using an electric stove too :)
Then, we had their Bulgogi Brothers special, 1,495, which had ground beef shaped into hearts hehe...
The ground beef was cooked first, and the rest of sauteed together.
I love the latter one, mixed with sliced basil leaves. So fragrant :)
Most of us had their refillable iced tea (syrup), and I asked for a plastic cup for Little J so he can have a little. They gave me this instead, how cute!
They also gave him a plastic plate and kiddie spoon and fork—now, that's what I call service.
Upon payment, our server even left a handwritten thank you note. Now, how could you not leave tip? :)
We had Hizon's cake after —we took it home and had it at my parents' place.
Too bad, I wasn't able to take a photo of it.
We devoured it as soon as we finished singing Happy Birthday hehe...
Happy happy birthday to the best dad in the whole wide world :D
