Getting Organized

I'm so proud of myself this week. I bought myself some magnets

... and did this on one of my walls :D

I gotta be extra OC this year with so many activities lined up for 2012 ;)  This way, I know right away what needs to be done for the day or the week.  Plus, our marketing coordinator and I will be in synched when it comes to our marketing events hehe...

My colleagues found it amusing, too!  Which makes this "calendar" all the more a success hehe :D

Christmas Parade

We just saw one of the most well-made and organized parade show yesterday afternoon at Frontera Verde in Pasig (where Tiendesitas is).  It was drizzling a bit though, so we opted to stay in the car and passed the parade four times hehe...

The Powerpuff Girls used to be one of my favorites

Each "float" had a group of dancers in costumes

Little J enjoyed the parade.
He kept saying"wow" every time we passed by :D

Box of Goodies

Do you remember that we went to London over the summer?  Of course, shopping was involved, and we were obviously overweight with our luggage.  So, we asked our friend, Jeff, to pack our old clothes (and other items) in a balikbayan box.  We were able to fill up the box(es) by the end of August, and it arrived last week :D

I filled it up with blanket sets from IKEA, a nespresso machine for my parents, and a nescafe dolce gusto for us.  Hubby was so excited to try it tonight:

Shopping Again!

I bought so much toys (and books) for little J last night at the Toy Kingdom Warehouse sale :D  I was so excited that hubby and I assembled a Disney Cars book rack and an organizing shelf as soon as I got home—both at 30% off.  Not bad right? :D

These will definitely help Little J keep his room tidy and clean :)

Water Baby

It was another two days filled with water fun for Little J, as we checked in at the H2O hotel, courtesy of Samsung Smart TV.  We were invited to try this amazing TV—will do a review on this on my next post :)

In the meantime, let me share with you how we spent the overnight stay at Manila Ocean Park :D

Their hallway reminded me of the cruise ships that I've been on

The Aqua Room is an amazing room to stay in.
Little J was in awe and kept saying hi to the fishes :)
IMG_0871

I've been wanting to stay here, and even spend Little J's birthday here, but they're always fully booked.  I'm really thankful that Samsung invited us to stay here :)

After checking in, we went down to buy Manila Ocean Park tickets.

First, was the the Oceanarium.  Hubby and I are impressed.

This "lounge" is pretty cool.  See those stingrays being fed?

IMG_0943

They even have "shark encounters." Scary!
IMG_0944

We tried their Glass Bottom Boat Ride.

The guide was very knowledgeable.  You can ask him anything about the fishes in this area.

Upon exit, we saw these snow-themed "exhibits"

Apparently, the penguins are coming this November :D
IMG_0957

Then, it was off to the Sea Lion Show.

It was pretty hot, at 430pm — it was their last show.
Best to bring an umbrella to protect yourself from the heat, not the water splashes as some might think.

Last stop was the Dancing Jellies

IMG_0986

I love the music that they were playing, which is actually Pachabel by Canon D — the song used in most weddings.

Then, dinner at MakanMakan. They have very affordable Asian dishes.

Back at the hotel room, Little J kept playing with the remote control of the curtain.

We had him take his shower in the tub. Love that there's a great view of the aquarium :D

Here's a super short video of him brushing his teeth :D

Hubby and I enjoyed the Samsung Smart TV immensely!
Will share our thoughts on this next week :D

Chicago Popcorn Tub was a perfect accompaniment, too!

Thanks, Samsung :D
