Mid-January, on the "birthday" weekend, I had to take a test. I was headed to Hong Kong for work the following week, and needed to know something. This came out:
We've been planning for a new addition to the family, so seeing this was quite a disappointment. Hubby insisted I was still pregnant though, so we waited. There's nothing else to do anyway, right? After all, I was delayed only for a few days at the time of the test.
I took the test again two weeks after, realizing that it's been too long. I had an easy pregnancy before, and there were hardly any symptoms that showed signs of me pregnant at that time, except having longer and stronger nails, and I was nesting and cleaning the house non-stop for a month now. I even spent my birthday cleaning the house! So, there, I took the test again:
We went straight to our doctor to have myself checked and confirmed :)
I was asked to come back two weeks after, which was last Saturday, to confirm the heartbeat :D Hubby and I saw the little thumper pumping fast ;)
How time flies, I am already 8 weeks pregnant :) Overwhelmed and excited at the same time, I gotta make sure everything's extra organized (both at home and at work). I don't want people to feel they have to work around me just because I'm pregnant, so here's to 7 more months of organized chaos until we get to see our little thumper :D
